MI LIVE Autumn Roadshow
MI LIVE returned for a tour of the country from north to south in our Autumn Roadshow. On September 24th and 25th we made the long journey up to Wakefield and Derby to begin our 2-part live event of the year, before finishing in Bristol and Southampton on October 8th and 9th.
Our live events have been designed to provide our members with the tools and insights needed to drive their business forward. Learning about the latest industry trends and discovering new strategies for growth, our roadshow was the place to be this Autumn!
New for 2024
With the change in the leaves, this was the perfect time to switch things up. The Autumn Roadshow featured new locations, more members of the Mortgage Intelligence team, and engaging roundtable sessions with podium presenters joining in. We hosted a record 10 lenders and providers at each location, offering attendees valuable industry insights and networking opportunities. A highlight was the quick-fire social media session, equipping our members with practical tips to boost their confidence and visibility online. It was a fantastic opportunity for learning, connection, and growth heading into 2025!
MI Update
Once again the morning sessions were introduced by Head of Marketing, Nick Terry and Head of Sales, Jason Bryant for an MI update. Discussing everything from a recap of 2024 to plans for the new year. Also in attendance were our Business Development Managers, Liz Obee and Jon Santus to support our members and answer questions face to face.
North
Day 1 started on September 24th, with a strong turnout in Wakefield. It was great to be back after a long break since Conference in May and MI Live South-East in February. Podium presentations highlighted a variety of topics from ‘What’s next for Homebuyers?’ to ‘Insights on Income Protection’, providing practical takeaways for our members to adopt. The newly formatted roundtable sessions were a welcomed change, with more lenders and providers than ever before.
After a successful opening day, the team began the journey south – stopping in Derby for an action-packed day 2. Exclusive insights into the current market, alongside proposition updates and ‘Exploring the True Impact of an Illness’. Derby continued the strong the level of engagement between our advisers and industry experts, taking the opportunity to grow and stay up to date on criteria changes and support.
South
The final leg of the Autumn Roadshow began in Bristol on October 8th where we welcomed our members in the south. The perfect day to connect with top lenders and providers, alongside valuable sessions on key topics shaping the industry. Attendees took advantage of the new layout, discussing everything from house prices to driving diversity.
Attendees gathered in Southampton, the last stop on our 2024 tour, on October 9th to hear the latest insights on the mortgage market and the evolving industry landscape. A fitting conclusion to the Autumn Roadshow, leaving everyone with fresh perspectives and renewed energy for the year ahead.
