October MI LIVE Round Up
On October 3rd – 5th, we visited Leeds Royal Armouries, Chelmsford City Racecourse and Bath Racecourse as MI took to the road again for the final roadshow of the year, helping advisers strategically prepare for 2024.
After the success of MI LIVE in June, it was worth the wait to host these events again, seeing different faces throughout the country. Once again, we hosted insightful presentations and valuable masterclasses, as we were joined by more industry specialists to cover the latest topics and highlight the importance of strategic planning. Across the three days, 99.9% of attendees were satisfied or very satisfied with the event.
MI Head Office Update
There is a significant opportunity in Q4 of 2023, heading into Q1 of 2024, with a projected £82.5bn in cessations and a further £60.7bn in Q1 of 2024. There is no better time to review client circumstances, and we know our advisers are always looking to help customers in the best possible way – which is why we wanted to give an update from MI on the projects that are taking place to help our advisers. Head of Marketing, Nick Terry and Head of Sales, Jason Bryant opened the events, covering MI updates, marketing support and more. The main focus was on our upcoming ‘Review Toolkit’, aiming to help advisers prepare for client review meetings – now available on Broker Zone .
Leeds Royal Armouries
We kicked off day one of #MILIVE23, with a strong turnout in Leeds. It was great to be back, connecting with so many advisers face-to-face. Lender and provider presentations highlighted the changes in the industry, market opportunities, customer outcomes and much more. Our masterclass sessions offered an opportunity for advisers to interact face-to-face with lender and provider representatives.
Chelmsford City Racecourse
Day two at Chelmsford City Racecourse followed a successful first day in Leeds for #MILIVE23. We welcomed new industry experts from a variety of lenders and providers, ready to deliver their latest propositions. Presentations covered the value of advice, the road to Net Zero and more. Masterclasses continued to support advisers, helping them strategically plan ahead for 2024.
The final day of #MILIVE23 took us to Bath Racecourse, for a closing session of presentations and masterclasses. Podium presentations focused on the Buy-to-Let market and how to help clients make informed protection choices. Our final masterclass sessions provided an insightful look into the industry, with great engagement from advisers throughout the day.
